Not another Noah ("we", "us") is a baby name popularity tool based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use notanothernoah.com and how we handle it.

What we collect

Search and share events — when you search for a name or share a report, we log the name searched, the action taken, and your IP address.
Payment data — if you purchase a report, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your email address and a transaction reference. We do not see or store your card details.
Hosting logs — our hosting provider Vercel automatically logs IP addresses and request metadata as part of standard web serving.

Why we collect it

To operate and improve the service (e.g. understanding which names are popular searches).
To send ourselves internal notifications of activity via a Slack webhook. These notifications include the name searched and a truncated IP address.
To process payments and deliver purchased reports.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers listed above (Stripe, Vercel, Slack) to the extent necessary to run the site. We may also disclose data if required to do so by law.

Cookies and advertising

We do not set any first-party tracking cookies. For visitors outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the site may load Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies for ad personalisation. The AdSense script is not loaded at all for EEA/UK/CH visitors, so no advertising cookies are set for those users.

Data retention

Internal Slack notifications are retained for the lifetime of our Slack workspace. Vercel hosting logs are retained in accordance with Vercel's data retention policy. Stripe retains payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@notanothernoah.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
